Just released from the greenville maine , moosehead lake fire dept, is this very unique 1951 dodge m-37 military powerwagon with an 8 ft bed and dual rear wheels,42105 original miles, serial # 800701, this is probably the only one like it anywhere, this setup is not original, it was very professionaly made this way and looks original, a very talented metal fabricator has lengthened the frame and the bed to 8 ft long, these trucks came with a 6'6" bed originally,a hard top was made and ladder/canoe racks, another set of leaf springs were added with helper perches, they added the dual rear wheel lug studs and nuts, i did this to a m-37 before also, you just use a rim from a 3/4 ton trailer that has a different offset for the outside rim, the fenders are thick rubber that is bolted to the original rear fenders, this setup could be removed easilly if you dont like it, needless to say this 3/4 ton truck is now rated for a lot more weight,this was the desired result to carry a water tank as this was a fire truck, the body and frame of this truck is very rust free and solid, just a little repair on each front fender below the headlight, minor, these all had that issue, the paint is nothing to brag about, does have a dent in the rr quarter and hood, i will include a nice hood with this deal, see the pictures, *************
